Of the 200 soldiers that have appeared in "Faces of War," Faces of the Civil War and Faces of the Confederacy, 137 became husbands. The vast majority, 85%, married once. The remaining soldiers, 21, married more than once. In sixteen of these cases, the reason for remarriage was the death of the spouse. The remaining five cases are the result of a divorce.
